Santa Clarita. Studio City. West Hollywood. OH My.
My daily prayers for each of you is to be free of suffering…Well, Happy and with LOVE. I will continue to meet this practice daily with the vision I hold that “HUMANITY WINS”.While, we are riding many paths to the SUNrise. I trust in the process, no matter how heart breaking it can feel along the way. I have a deeper knowing that we will meet the sunrise. While, my heart broke with Maui and foreign nations. Then, again in the Appalachian Mountains. Now with the City of the Angels. Yet, I have witnessed many things during this past year. The most heart warming part has been observing the humanity that runs through each and everyone of you. It is what reassures me that we have not lost that which makes humanity unique. Kindness + Compassion + Generosity. The remedy. With all this being said, I know personally that many of you are and have been on a most certain edge and your faith in the next falls way at times. Yet, I encourage you all to keep leaning into the POSSIBLE.
If you need any support mentally, physically, emotionally and/or spiritually, I am offering my services as a gift to anyone impacted by the recent fires*. That includes anyone in the epicenters and those outside of it. These moments impact all of us. Shock, Trauma, Grief and Anger are VALID. Please give yourself the space to experience and express all that is coming up. You will help yourself by processing and supporting self real time vs stuffing it away for another day.
*Simply message me to arrange a session.

For new mamas, the emphasis here is focused on bringing vata (ether+air) down, taking sweet nourishing warm soupy porridge can gently restore to health and balance. The birth of the infant takes a lot of energy from you. You must gradually restore back to full power. You must take maximum rest, keep warm, and keep your diet liquid, warm and unctuous. These are just a few places to start. Rather than be overwhelmed with all the options and motherhood, welcome in the alignment with self and your intuition. Ayurveda is a system that relates quite naturally to our relationship with the earth and the human species. We only need to make adjustments based on where we are in the world and the ingredients that most agree with our constitution. We are not all designed to digest all the spices and herbs recommended in Ayurveda and/or Chinese Medicine.
With this being said take some deep breaths, listen and move slowly into motherhood, it is an evolving journey with yourself, your children and your partner. Be gentle with everyone and you will find your way with a lot of courage, love, joy and inspiration along the way.
