Roasted Beet Goodness (organic foods per favore)
Roasted Beets, Sauerkraut, Figs, and Avocados…add hemp seeds and you have a balanced meal. Simple and easy meal.
Pre-heat the oven at 375 degrees. Roll the beets in organic olive oil (give them a good rub down). Then place them in a pan with enough oil to keep the beets moist. Roast for 25 minutes to 60 minutes depending on their size. Turn often. Then, you can store skins on in the fridge or use immediately for the salad.
The rest is pretty simple…slice and/or chop everything up (be creative with each ingredient..express yourself through the presentation). Once you have it all in a bowl sprinkle with hemp seeds. For extra flavor add salt, pepper and juice from Sauerkraut.

Sauerkraut…immune booster, digestive aide, & cancer inhibitor. Helps generate omega-3 fatty acid and GTF chromium a trace mineral that help with digestion. Positive effect on immunity in HIV+ children. Contains the antioxidants glutathione and superoxide dismustase which can help fight off free radicals.
Figs…source of potassium and calcium. A superfood…Figs are very useful in various respiratory disorders including whooping cough and asthma. Since they are also good for digestion, they help in treating constipation, indigestion, stomach ache, etc. Figs are also good for fever, earache, boils, abscesses, venereal diseases and is excellent for the liver. Fig is a highly alkaline food, therefore helps to regulate the pH of the body. Figs are rich in antioxidants, which prevent the damage caused by free radicals.
Hemp Seeds…a complete protein source. (ideal balance of Omega 3&6, and it has a massive trace mineral content – truly one of nature’s superfoods.) They contain the most digestible forms of protein. They are a source of antioxidants, fiber, iron, vitamins E and A.
