About Sean C Kennedy grew up in Scotland, within a musical family. Although music was ever present, Sean pursued a professional soccer career and successfully so. It was when he suffered a career-ending knee injury for which he needed a stam cell bone transplant, that music found Sean, and Sean found his voice and talent for songwriting. His musical career lifted off in a local band and soon took flight.
On June 5th 2020, Sean releasesd his EP ‘Let Life Love You’, his first release since moving to Nashville. The album is comprised of eight tracks – six of which have already racked up two million plays, having made it onto several Apple playlists including Apple Today, New Music Daily, Mellow Days, Acoustic Chill & more.
On this EP, Sean shares his personal experiences of understanding life, seeing the beauty in everything and the power of vulnerability. Style wise it moves away from his debut album, flowing towards a more electronic sound with a strong contemporary pop feel. It’s uplifting, positive and still full of depth, as people have come to know Sean’s music. His main goal? Inspiring others to let life love them.
As for the rest of 2020, Sean will be releasing more music in the second half of the year. He’ll once again play around with different genres; the Nashville DNA will definitely be a recognized as an influence. Stay tuned! *All Social Media Platforms and Streaming Platforms.
