I always share with my clients and students that more than we completely can comprehend is already written in the astronomical reflection of the universe. The reason for this is cause and effect…the complex algorithm that weaves our collective actions into the infinite unfolding of life. The above is an excerpt from a book I wrote long before meditation, yoga, ayurveda and spirituality had re-emerged in the global culture. In addition, the concept of balancing your masculine and feminine energies was reserved for the tried and true yogis and beings practicing the Tao. It is so beautiful is to bare witness to how the East has merged with the West. In addition, it does not surprise me that there has been so much talk about gender because what I will continue to share from my book is how the balance has been lost but slowly the reunion is unfolding. In Bare Naked Bliss, Chapter 4 The Power of the Masculine and Feminine Energies, I share a mythological tale that is written from my own voice, about the two cosmic forces that reside in the universe and within all of us. The passionate dance is one that is between Shiva (heaven) and Shakti (earth). I share my version of their cosmic dance and inner union to awaken the reader to the forces of Shiva and Shakti within them. I encourage the reader to find inner balance. This will enable them to return to living from a place of love, compassion and divine creation. When these energies are in harmony internally one will be in harmony with the outer world.

Recently, Shiva and Shakti have been speaking to me in my dreams and meditations. Their energies are what have lead me to the Ulun Danu Temple in the Astral Plane and then to it in the physical plane. The upcoming Ayurveda Retreat, VisionQuest and Zen Adventure is being supported by these mystical energies that are most certainly held in the earth’s energy in Bali.

The inner energies of the yin (shakti) and yang (shiva) will continue to reflect where you need to restore balance. If you are willing to listen, you will be guided. As inspired, take a moment to listen from within…

Poetry from Bare Naked Bliss was my way of foreshadowing what is going to be revealed in the upcoming chapter or within the next passage. The use of metaphors within poetry, writing, music and the arts provides the individual taking in the words and/or imagery an opportunity to meet the moment with their state of being. When these to conditions intersect their way in which they are being in the world will shift in frequency. The space given is a gift and an invitation to be and receive as you are. The contemplation after the poem (in this case) are ingested is an opportunity to go deeper into your subconsciousness and the heart of your soul’s intelligence.
