Mother Nature’s Way, Zen and Telepathy

On a recent trip back from Arizona, this little one got injured in the car. His right shoulder, arm and ribs were impacted. Rather than go to the vet, we had him stay in his bed for 3 days (Nature’s way, when something is broken or seriously hurt…take cover and lay still for several days.) We let him BE. Repose and rest is how nature repairs itself. Buddy healed. He could walk, trot and (within a week) could jump again.

First, it is valuable to understand that humans can all heal this way too. Then, you will want to remember how to bring yourself into the present moment, empty the mind and use a simple zen technique (a focused gaze) coupled with stillness. A soft gaze will help keep you from wrestling with thoughts, physical discomfort and unnecessary distractions.

Second, this leads me to share the forgotten tool of communication…telepathy. We are all part of nature. We are two way radios. We transmit and receive frequencies. Your body, mind, and emotions/feelings transmit. Just like people animals have bias, feelings, and physical conditions. All of which transmit signals internally and externally. Collectively we are communicating this way all day long. We do not need these phones, social media, email or even written letters to communicate. Most people have not sharpened their telepathy skills for several reasons.

Basic Fundamentals behind accessing Telepathy

The three key ingredients to accessing what is being transmitted is integrity, responsibility and awareness. I will dive deeper into these keys in future posts. How this relates to healing, Buddy transmitted his pain and the seriousness of it through telepathy and sound. (He has a way about him with daily communication via the mind frequencies. He will even encourage others, if they pay attention, to be mindful with their words and emotions). He is not sending words or thoughts he is transmitting frequencies.

Furthermore, we transmit frequencies, we are constantly sending out into the environment what is. You cannot really fake this or hide it with a filter (unless you have even more advanced skills). This is how nature understands what is and supports us. The key is to slow down long enough to receive and hear what is needed. For Buddy and anyone that wants to heal a quiet, still and calm environment are what will bring one into well being and harmony with nature.

The Practice

Finally, as inspired, practice nature’s way when you need a moment or two to return back to harmony. In addition, practice becoming aware of the frequencies that you are transmitting and the one’s you are receiving these can impact your state of well being. Finally, practice keeping your mind clear. AKA stop thinking  .

Humans and all species on planet earth can regenerate.

WHAT’s NEXT?

I have always asked a lot of questions. I have been this way since I was a little girl. I am not afraid to talk with people with different perspectives. I actually value what they have to say. I want to know ‘why’.

The trend of yoga, mindfulness, ritual and spiritual mystique that has become commonplace in health, wellness, business, entertainment, athletics and personal lives globally. In fact, it is a multi-billion dollar industry. In addition, there are billions of photos on the World Wide Web documenting and expressing these practices, teachings, selfies, goods and more. All of which probably support and inspire many in one way or another. Yet, are any of these odes truly a sign of one’s level of consciousness or indicator they ARE or Soon TO BE” enlightened?

I would respond, “NO.” In fact, it is quite the opposite. Most of what is portrayed as sacred or wisdom has an essence of grasping underplayed by the beautiful mask that is offered. Turmeric and Cracked Pepper in Fall: TCM and Ayurv Turmeric and Cracked Pepper in Fall: TCM and Ayurveda

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda, turmeric and cracked black pepper are potent allies for fall, addressing seasonal challenges like dryness and cold. TCM links fall to the Metal (Ether) element, focusing on Lung and Large Intestine health, while Ayurveda sees it as Vata season, requiring warming, grounding remedies. Together, these spices combat inflammation, boost immunity, and aid digestion, with pepper enhancing turmeric’s bioavailability.

TCM Perspective:

+ Turmeric: Warm, bitter, and pungent; enters Spleen, Stomach, and Liver. It moves Qi and Blood, countering fall’s sluggishness, clears heat and dampness for sore throats or sinus issues, and moistens Lungs to ease dry coughs. Add 1/2 tsp to soups (e.g., pumpkin) or turmeric tea with honey and pepper for immunity.

+Cracked Pepper: Hot and pungent; warms the Stomach, expels cold and dampness, and clears mucus. Sprinkle a pinch in congee, soups, or stir-fries with turmeric to support Lung health and digestion.

Ayurveda Perspective:

+Turmeric: Heating, bitter, and pungent; balances Vata and Kapha. It grounds Vata’s dryness, boosts Agni (digestive fire), reduces joint stiffness, and detoxifies Ama (toxins). Use in golden milk (1/4 tsp turmeric, pinch of pepper, milk, cardamom) or roasted veggies for warmth.

+Cracked Pepper: Heating; ignites Agni, clears congestion, and enhances turmeric’s anti-inflammatory effects. Add to dals or baked apples with turmeric for Vata balance.

Combination Benefits: Piperine in pepper boosts curcumin absorption, maximizing benefits for circulation, immunity, and digestion in fall’s dry, cool climate.

Practical Uses:

TCM: Turmeric-pepper congee with ginger for Spleen and Lung health.

Ayurveda: Golden milk or turmeric-pepper roasted root vegetables to ground Vata.
Both: Add to fall soups or teas for warmth and immunity.

The pears are in many peak season in the Northern The pears are in many peak season in the Northern Hemisphere. This is when they are most abundant and deeper flavors. The Late Season continues on through January. Pears are gentle and add sweet undertone to many dishes and baked goods where incorporated. The sweet taste is cooling and grounding in Ayurveda. The sweet taste supports building tissues, calming the nervous system and balancing (vata and pitta). It is very soothing if you have excessive heat or dryness in the body. The astringent taste is supportive and can help balance pitta and kapha by drying excessive dampness and/or reduce inflammation. 

Baked Pears

This is a warm, nourishing dessert or snack for fall, this recipe uses pears (moistening the lungs) with turmeric and cracked pepper to support digestion, reduce inflammation, and support the fall element of Metal (ether). The spices and honey will warm the Spleen, counter balancing the fall’s dryness and cold.

Ingredients

+ ripe, frim pears
+1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
+pinch of cracked pepper
+1 tbsp. honey
+1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
+1 tsp. of ghee or coconut oil
+1/4 tsp. cardamom
+ 1-2 Tbsp chopped walnuts

You have always been with you and you always will be with you. During the journey of living, you have accumulated lessons and wisdom that are unique to you and the physcial body that you were destined to be in. My words might be foreign, liberating and humbling. All of which will help you access your inner wisdom and acceptance of your physical form. 

In the east and within the ‘science’ of measuring cause and effect, it is understood and tracible that your human form has a direct relationship to your individual and our collective (ancestors’) past action. Which is the humbling part and welcomes us to soften our gaze and look deeper into the true nature of our individual and collective actions and way of being. In addition, this is why from an eastern lens it is encouraged to minimize grasping for something external and rather welcome in balancing from within. Artificial anything might give you a quick fix; yet, it will ultimately create a shortcut. It is like cheating on a test. You may or may not think you need to know that information. If you choose to bypass learning it and need it in the future you will eventually need to learn it. There are no shortcuts. We might be able to quickly alter the human body; however, it does not mean you will have a deeper understanding why it is that way and how to balance it moving forward.” Suzanne Toro

Transitions. My work is dedicated to assisting in Transitions. My work is dedicated to assisting in life cycles…transitions in Birth | Life | Death. All of which can be supported internally and externally when syncing up with your natural rhythms, what is beneficial for you and the environment you reside in. Depending where you are in the world, you might be feeling the planetary exchange. The masculine and feminine batons are being passed off. The tipping point between Fire and Water. We are close to the equal point. 

This shift is significant as we (in the northern hemisphere) are transitioning to the waters (aka feminine. Mother. Receiving. Creation) energy. Our brothers and sisters (in the southern hemisphere) are transitioning to the fire (aka masculine. Father. Giving. Regenerative Being) energy. Which if inspired you can adjust your state of being to lead with reception (listening) or with giving (discerning). Both which continuously are anchored with the way of love (aka aloha)
that flows through all of us and the center point through our island nations. Deeply grateful for our brothers and sisters who are holding center for all.

If inspired, you can attune to the inner awareness and then if you want you can check the “time” that does not really exist. I have shown an example below based on where I live. To help visually share the concept. Tuning in from the inside out will help you understand what is ready to be seen, understood and transformed. It is a unique message and opportunity for each of you. 

May all beings everywhere remember their natural flow, gifts and potential to contribute to the whole.

It is always a dance between education around natu It is always a dance between education around nature and “Whole Foods” and learning how to listen to your body by developing a relationship with nature and you. A perfect example is my pup, knows what he needs as soon as he senses certain foods he appears in the kitchen. He smelled the peaches and appeared by side. These are very helpful to his constitution. He has an inner knowing. So do you. 

A little education about the peach.

Late Summer. Peaches offer a wealth of health benefits in both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, making them a nourishing choice for body and mind. Their high water content hydrates the system, supporting fluid balance and healthy skin in both traditions. Rich in vitamins like A and C, plus antioxidants, peaches boost immunity and aid tissue repair, promoting vitality and radiance.

They also support digestion by encouraging regular bowel movements and preventing stagnation, aligning with both systems’ emphasis on eliminating toxins. Best enjoyed in summer and late summer, peaches help cool the body in Ayurveda while preparing the lungs for autumn in TCM, harmonizing with seasonal rhythms.

Depending on where you are, peaches may still be available. Note that seasons shift with the environment, both internally and externally. Lunar cycles help us track these changes, but seasonal transitions vary each year. Here, where I am, it’s still warm. Subtle external and internal shifts will cue me that fall has arrived. I encourage you to check in with your surroundings and nourish yourself accordingly. In the meantime, a peach is a delightful gift to savor at the end of late summer and the start of fall.
