Mother Nature’s Way, Zen and Telepathy

On a recent trip back from Arizona, this little one got injured in the car. His right shoulder, arm and ribs were impacted. Rather than go to the vet, we had him stay in his bed for 3 days (Nature’s way, when something is broken or seriously hurt…take cover and lay still for several days.) We let him BE. Repose and rest is how nature repairs itself. Buddy healed. He could walk, trot and (within a week) could jump again.

First, it is valuable to understand that humans can all heal this way too. Then, you will want to remember how to bring yourself into the present moment, empty the mind and use a simple zen technique (a focused gaze) coupled with stillness. A soft gaze will help keep you from wrestling with thoughts, physical discomfort and unnecessary distractions.

Second, this leads me to share the forgotten tool of communication…telepathy. We are all part of nature. We are two way radios. We transmit and receive frequencies. Your body, mind, and emotions/feelings transmit. Just like people animals have bias, feelings, and physical conditions. All of which transmit signals internally and externally. Collectively we are communicating this way all day long. We do not need these phones, social media, email or even written letters to communicate. Most people have not sharpened their telepathy skills for several reasons.

Basic Fundamentals behind accessing Telepathy

The three key ingredients to accessing what is being transmitted is integrity, responsibility and awareness. I will dive deeper into these keys in future posts. How this relates to healing, Buddy transmitted his pain and the seriousness of it through telepathy and sound. (He has a way about him with daily communication via the mind frequencies. He will even encourage others, if they pay attention, to be mindful with their words and emotions). He is not sending words or thoughts he is transmitting frequencies.

Furthermore, we transmit frequencies, we are constantly sending out into the environment what is. You cannot really fake this or hide it with a filter (unless you have even more advanced skills). This is how nature understands what is and supports us. The key is to slow down long enough to receive and hear what is needed. For Buddy and anyone that wants to heal a quiet, still and calm environment are what will bring one into well being and harmony with nature.

The Practice

Finally, as inspired, practice nature’s way when you need a moment or two to return back to harmony. In addition, practice becoming aware of the frequencies that you are transmitting and the one’s you are receiving these can impact your state of well being. Finally, practice keeping your mind clear. AKA stop thinking  .

Humans and all species on planet earth can regenerate.

WHAT’s NEXT?

I have always asked a lot of questions. I have been this way since I was a little girl. I am not afraid to talk with people with different perspectives. I actually value what they have to say. I want to know ‘why’.

The trend of yoga, mindfulness, ritual and spiritual mystique that has become commonplace in health, wellness, business, entertainment, athletics and personal lives globally. In fact, it is a multi-billion dollar industry. In addition, there are billions of photos on the World Wide Web documenting and expressing these practices, teachings, selfies, goods and more. All of which probably support and inspire many in one way or another. Yet, are any of these odes truly a sign of one’s level of consciousness or indicator they ARE or Soon TO BE” enlightened?

I would respond, “NO.” In fact, it is quite the opposite. Most of what is portrayed as sacred or wisdom has an essence of grasping underplayed by the beautiful mask that is offered. Pan-Crisped Potatoes with Tilapia & Cabbage Slaw Pan-Crisped Potatoes with Tilapia & Cabbage Slaw 
In Loving Memory of Sylvia, Queen of Fried Fish & CA Tacos 🤍 

Ingredients 
Potatoes: 
- New potatoes, sliced 
- Himalayan pink salt & black pepper 
- 1 tbsp olive oil 
- 1 tbsp butter 

Slaw: 
- Shredded cabbage 
- Chopped sweet peas 
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced 
- Juice of 1 lemon 
- Black pepper 

Tilapia: 
- Tilapia fillets 
- Juice of 1/2 lemon 
- Himalayan pink salt & black pepper 
- 1 tbsp olive oil 
- 2 tbsp fresh pesto (+ extra for serving) 
- Cloud 23 habanero hot sauce 

Instructions 
1. Potatoes: Heat skillet with 1 tbsp each olive oil & butter. Add halved potatoes, cut side down, season with salt & pepper. Cook 10-12 min, flipping halfway, until crispy. Keep warm. 

2. Slaw: Mix cabbage, peas, cucumber, lemon juice, & pepper in a bowl. Toss & set aside. 

3. Tilapia: Pat fillets dry, season with salt, pepper, & lemon juice. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in skillet. Sear fish 2-3 min per side, adding 1 tbsp pesto per fillet after flipping. Cook until flaky. 

4. Serve: Plate potatoes, slaw, & tilapia. Top fish with extra pesto & a drizzle of hot sauce. 

5. Enjoy with love, honoring Sylvia’s passion for fresh fish & tacos. 

Notes: Adjust seasoning & hot sauce to taste. Serve with joy!

+ Africa & Innovation: In Ghana, coconut waste is being repurposed into plastic-free packaging materials, spotlighting sustainable entrepreneurship. Similarly, in Kenya, a startup is transforming agricultural waste like maize stalks and sugarcane bagasse into biodegradable packaging, reducing plastic pollution and creating rural jobs with support from universities and international grants.

+Conservation Wins: Colombia reported a 33% reduction in national deforestation during Q1 2025, with a 54% drop in Amazon national parks, marking a significant step for biodiversity protection. In Brazil, deforestation in the Amazon fell by 28% in early 2025, driven by stricter enforcement and indigenous-led reforestation, reinforcing regional conservation momentum.

Where the mind may trick, the heart knows—not th Where the mind may trick, the heart knows—not through logic, but through resonance. The mind often spins stories, driven by fear, desire, doubt and/or habit. In contrast, the heart speaks in subtler tones. Listening to it requires quieting the mental chatter just long enough to sense what is truly aligned. This form of knowing isn’t loud or forceful—it’s felt in stillness, in peace, and in the spaces between thoughts.

Letting go of grasping invites us to release our attachment to outcomes, identities, or expectations. In many traditions—Buddhism, Yoga, Taoism—grasping is considered a root cause of suffering. When we cling, we lose sight of what is and become entangled in what we want it to be. Releasing that grip creates space for trust, surrender, and a more authentic connection to the present moment.

There’s a difference between knowing and wanting. Wanting is urgent and fueled by lack; knowing is calm and rooted in truth. The sacred heart doesn’t beg or chase—it quietly reveals. That still, grounded awareness is where clarity lives. This isn’t about bypassing any aspect of life but about learning to distinguish resonance from reaction.

The body joins this conversation too. Through the fascia—a sensitive network of connective tissue—it can signal when something is off or when truth is present but unspoken. These signals often appear as shivers, goosebumps, or a subtle rise at the skin’s surface. It’s the body’s way of flagging what the conscious mind might miss: a warning, a confirmation, or a quiet invitation to pay attention. When we listen to both the heart’s resonance and the body’s signals, we begin to navigate life not just with intellect, but with a deeply attuned awareness rooted in presence. 

As Inspired, take a moment daily to pause and listen—not just with your ears, with you your entire being. Observe, the subtle ways your heart communicates: a feeling of ease, a silent yes, or a gentle tug of resistance. Pay attention to the signals in your body—those physical sensations that arrive before or after words.

Pesto Egg Salad on Carrot Slaw and Cucumber Slices Pesto Egg Salad on Carrot Slaw and Cucumber Slices

Serves: 2 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes 

This vibrant, nutrient-dense dish combines the grounding protein of eggs with the cooling, invigorating flavors of pesto and cucumber, balanced by the spleen-nourishing crunch of carrot slaw. A touch of lemon zest supports liver function and brightens the dish, making it perfect for warm weather.

Ingredients

For the Pesto Egg Salad

+ 4 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
+2 tbsp fresh pesto (store-bought or homemade: basil, mint, garlic, olive oil, pine nuts (or sunflower seeds/walnuts and Parmesan)
+1 tbsp plain Greek yogurt or Olive Oil (optional)
+Pinch of lemon zest
+Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Carrot Slaw

+2 medium carrots, grated (about 1.5 cups)
+1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
+1 tsp fresh lemon juice
+1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for subtle sweetness)
+Pinch of sea salt
+1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill (optional, for freshness)

For Serving

+1 large cucumber, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds (about 12–16 slices)
+Optional garnish: extra lemon zest, sumac, or fresh herbs

Instructions
1. Prepare the Pesto Egg Salad
 +In a medium bowl, roughly chop the hard-boiled eggs.
 +Add the pesto, Greek yogurt (if using), and a pinch of lemon zest.
 +Gently mix until combined. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.
2. Make the Carrot Slaw
 +In a separate bowl, combine grated carrots, olive oil, lemon juice, and honey (if using).
 +Toss to coat evenly. Add a pinch of sea salt and fresh parsley or dill.
 +Let the slaw sit for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
3. Assemble the Dish
 +Arrange cucumber slices on a serving platter or individual plates.
 +Spoon a small mound of carrot slaw (about 1–2 tbsp) onto each cucumber slice.
 +Top each with a generous dollop of pesto egg salad (about 1 tbsp per slice).
4. Garnish and Serve
 +Sprinkle with extra lemon zest or fresh herbs.
 +Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes for a cooler, refreshing bite.
