SEBASTIAN SIEGEL is a British-American director, producer, screenwriter and author. His modes of storytelling range from filmmaking to contemporary art and psychology.
FILM Sebastian adapted, directed, and produced the feature film GRACE AND GRIT (based on Ken Wilber’s globally acclaimed book). The movie will release in select theatres and everywhere movies stream on Friday June 4th 2021 (Official trailer here). Sebastian discusses production of the film with Julia Ormond (at the 2020 IEC), with Allyson & Alex Grey at CoSM, and in a Director’s Statement at Shambhala. John Mackey, founder of Whole Foods, calls the film “brilliant”.
Sebastian wrote, directed, and produced SECRET AGENT BEACH (2017) and its prequel trailer, BRITISH SECRET AGENT YACHT, to promote acclaimed European films for HIFF and its subsidiary HEC Festival. He wrote, produced, and directed the documentary AWAKENING WORLD (Beyond Words Publishing, VOD, and Amazon), which received the largest audience in the history of The Sedona International Film Festival. The film won Most Inspiring Documentary in Miami, was selected as the Centerpiece film for AFFMA, acclaimed by ABC News, The Hallmark Channel, MyFm, and serves to inspire connective discussions at select events and as part of an ongoing program with LA County Probation. The second installment of this project, SPIRIT OF EVOLUTION, is in post-production. Sebastian holds rights and options to a number of books and true stories. He is developing the series BLOOD, LOVE, POWER based on the novel, By Love Fulfilled; the feature film MAN Vs OCEAN, adapted from the popular UK sports book; the true story bipoic 180; and is producing the feature film LIFE COACH. Sebastian is represented by Neil Sacker.
