Milk Thistle This tough on the outside plant friend is super gentle on the inside. It’s tough exterior has the stamina to break through your built up emotions and stagnation resting in and around your liver. A simple tincture can be added to a morning juice, tea or hot water with lemon. This is a simple way to support your liver, during the Spring months or annually if you have a historic imbalance in your liver.
When developing a relationship with Milk Thistle. Yes, I said, “developing a relationship with Milk Thistle.” This is important, just taking anything from nature and demanding or expecting a specific outcome is similar to how a relationship with a human would go. At first, you might seem like the relationship is reciprocal. Then, the demands and impatience can take you further out of balance and eventually the relationship is abandon. Being the emotional remedy for the liver and anger is patience, I encourage you to practice patience and then consider if. you want to develop a relationship with milk thistle.
To Be Noted: The plant kingdom is well aware of who tends to nature and who does not. In addition, the communication network is fast and direct. If you listen daily, you will have a deeper understanding what aspects of nature can help you retain balance in your daily life. Furthermore, remember healing is about restoring balance not treating symptoms or a disease. This is a western concept that actually creates obstacles in both western and eastern medicine.

With all the age old confusion and arguments centered around the ‘physical’ world works, history, science, medicine and theological practices, I want to gently remind you of your heart. The dissonance is a collective strategy to perpetuate duality and division. The endless push pull energy is what causes suffering for all. It is the internal and external grasping that keeps each one of us in this endless cycle. While, many of you might have your “ideas” on how to move beyond this phenomena, and you can test those beliefs, practices and perspectives every day. However, if you simply apply your heart to all you do, you will find this is a simple way to move beyond the push pull. The reason for this practice is because you will access the extra support of an unexplainable field of energy that is ever present and leave a lighter footprint. The sacred, divine heart energy is ever present with all of us. It is there to lift you up, hold you still, keep you in check and shine a light on your blind spots. When you apply your innate wisdom(aka uniqueness) and the divine heart energy it will carry you forward with deep compassion, joy, humility and grace.
As inspired, practice daily, in all directions through your heart center, in your thoughts, words and actions. Please share here or directly, what bliss and miracles unfold around you.
Do you want to feed your mind daily? As inspired, play physical board (i.e. games, chess, checker, cards, and more), learn new vocabulary, practice a language, dance, meditate, work a puzzle, cook, practice math, learn a new skill, teach a skill and move that body (arms and legs at the same time). If possible, gift yourself 30-60 minutes a day and feed your mind.
A daily practice of simple silence is the most beneficial practice for your heart+mind and HUManity. The numerous ways to avoid a silent meditation are available everywhere on the internet via your phone/computer. While, yes, guided meditations are helpful in the beginning and/or in a one on one practice with a skilled teacher.
However, I encourage you to practice meditation with presence and in pure silence. If you have a busy mind (overactive imagination, constant inner dialogue, often disassociate from your state of being present in life and/or in a delusional state) starting with a zazen technique is the safest place for you to begin. Simply put you and your bottom on a cushion, lightly notice your soft breath and gaze gently at a focal point with your completer presence to HERE.
This zazen technique will do help you achieve two things:
It will help repair and heal trauma stored in your mind, body, heart and soul with out any effort.
Quiet Your Mind
Then, as your entire system balances, you will be ready for a closed eyed meditation. If you find yourself grasping for anything in meditation or life you are creating an obstacle from accessing your deeper communication with your eternal being and innate wisdom that is unique to you. It is important to remember there is nothing to know, grasp for or want from meditation and/or a spiritual practice. When you meet meditation with wonderment, humility, a clear heart and open mind, you will be prepared for meeting yourself in all that is and all that is not. {Nothingness: The Void} It is within this space that many miraculous exchanges happen without your having any dimensional knowing until you take a breath bringing you back to HERE.
Finally, it is important to have an instructor during meditation, at different phases of your learning journey and as you deepen your practice. This is to insure you do not get lost in the art of grasping, your imagination and/or phenomena. Many people feel they can be an instructor before they have even learned how to be a good student. While, we hear the mindfulness buzzwords in trending earth well being culture; remember, we are moving into the era of mastery. Mastery will only be birthed with honesty, discipline and authenticity. Faking it will no longer work anymore nor will taking it work.
